My friends father knows a guy that is in the heating and cooling industry and he got me an interview with one of the leading commercial businesses in the area.

I was pretty upset for the interview and my partner stayed home from work to make sure that the kids did not get on my nerves before I had to meet with the owner of the supplier that morning.

My partner also pressed my shirt and made sure that my tie was put on in the respected way. When I met with the owner of the leading commercial heating and cooling supplier in the area, I was truly much at ease. The guy was truly nice and simple to talk to. We walked around the grounds of the corporation. The guy has more than 15 acres in the neighborhood just dedicated to the commercial heating and cooling business, by the time I was finished with the interview, the owner of the company offered me a job. He said that he knew my partner’s Mom truly well and that he gave me a good recommendation. He took me into the office so we could fill out all of the paperwork. Up until this point, I did not know what the salary was going to be. I was previously making $17 an hour. I was truly hopeful that I would end up making more at this job, because it was one of the top commercial heating and cooling maintenance businesses in the area. Not only am I making $21 an hour now, although I also have medical, dental, and vision benefits.

I got hired to work at a new heating and A/C maintenance company a couple of weeks ago. The job pays more than my outdated job by $3 an hour, although I have to work on Thursdays and Mondays. I used to have every Thursday and Monday off at my old job, but now my days off are Mondays and Thursdays. I receive a premium fee when I work on the weekends which is even higher than the original $3 an hour spend money raise. On Mondays my wife is also off so we get to spend the day together. On Thursdays, I love to go fishing. It is truly good to lay down by the lake on the dock with a six pack of beers in the cooler and a fishing pole in my hand. There are a lot of strange fish in the lake and some of them can be pretty big. I take all of the necessary gear to wash and gut my fish. If I have a haul, those guys will help me eat it all. On Thursday days I also love to hang out with the guys that I used to work with. Some of those guys want to move to the new heating and A/C maintenance supplier with me, but right now there are no positions available. I did tell my boss that I know a couple of guys and he is going to let me know if something opens up.

My coworkers and I got brand new trucks delivered to the shop on Monday morning.

We knew that we were getting new trucks for a couple of weeks.

They were supposed to be delivered last week, but there was a delay at the factory. I have not had air conditioning in my labor truck for the past 6 weeks and I labor for an a/c maintenance business. The first day that I had my new truck, the boss sent me downtown for an a/c repair. I had to park in the parking garage. My boss told me to stay there and he was going to come down to talk to the sheriff. The sheriff asked for the information from the security cameras and that was when we found out that they did not catch anyone, however half of the cameras weren’t working and the other half weren’t pointed in the right direction. There was absolutely no way for the police to gather information on the crime.

I told my boss that there was a problem with the ductwork above the laundry room, but the biggest issue was the fact that some of the braces were rusty and falling apart.

Everything has rust or mold, so sometimes I wonder why the building has not been condemned by the city. There are 30 strange apartments in the building. We have a dozen of each and the laundry room is open 24 hours a day for all of our leaseholders. There are also close circuit cable cameras running 24 hours a day to make sure that the area is safe. My boss installed all of the CCTV cameras, however he did not want to spend money for new HVAC duct. It can be truly frustrating to tell someone that there is a problem and then they do not do anything about it and so something bad happens. That was exactly what happened in this situation. I was repairing a washing device in the laundry room when the ductwork fell and went right through the ceiling. Pieces of the drywall fell down on top of the laundry room. It was not damaged in the accident, but it could have been very bad, then after that, I got a pretty important promotion and a nice raise.

On Mondays I usually have brunch at a steakhouse around the corner from the Heating and A/C maintenance shop.

Mondays are the one day that we have to meet at the shop at 11:00 a.m.

for a meeting, so the restaurant is the closest place for brunch, however I grab brunch before I start off to the next maintenance or replacement job! On Monday I decided to go to the restaurant to have some hot wings. Mondays there is a special at the steakhouse and you can get 20 hot wings for 10 bucks. If you add a beer to that it is only a buck, very few of my coworkers and I sat down at a table by the window so we could keep an eye on our maintenance vehicles. One time last year a vandal spray painted the side of my work truck and I had to take it back to the shop immediately because the spray painting was vulgar, but while my we were sitting at the table, I observed that the indoor air hot and cold temperatures seemed to shift. When we walked into the restaurant, the temperatures inside were cool but it seemed like it was starting to warm up quickly. I stood up and put my feet on the chair so I could reach my hand up to the air vent. Warm air was coming out of the HVAC duct. I immediately alerted the manager. I had my uniform on when I told the guy about the problem and he assumed that I was going to help him fix the a/c issue. I had to lend a helping hand at my favorite restaurant .

Nothing beats taking in a refreshing breeze during the summer heat.

Simply because of how hot it can get where I live, the hot summer months can be really difficult to deal with. I am aware that some people are fortunate to not reside in an extremely hot environment, but I am not so fortunate as I do so and must constantly regulate my body’s temperature. Unfortunately, I constantly have to manage my air conditioning expenses because it gets so hot here, these costs can mount up pretty quickly. The summer season has arrived. I’ve had to use my air conditioning system because the temperatures are already higher than they usually are. But I suppose you could say that I’m fortunate because my neighborhood isn’t as hot as some others. I am aware that some desert regions can easily reach temperatures of over a hundred during the summer, which I find to be insane! Even though it isn’t that hot outside, it is still between 90 and 95 degrees here, and that is simply too hot for me. Since I’d rather have to worry about turning on my heaters than turning on my air conditioning system, I’m actually considering moving to a cooler state more and more. I believed moving to a warm state was what I wanted, but I’m beginning to realize that I may have been mistaken and that I underestimated how hot it would be. I’ve been kept cool the entire summer thanks to my fantastic air conditioning system. I don’t know if I would be able to survive with it.

Because hiking in the heat sounds so miserable to me every time I go out in it, I haven’t been able to do what I love as much lately.

Considering only how attractive I am, how am I supposed to accomplish anything? I’m sorry, but I’m unable to. My home’s cool air conditioning system is something I would much rather enjoy from the inside. So I did that, and ever since then my air conditioning system has only given me excellent results. As a result, whenever it’s too hot outside, I’d rather stay inside and enjoy my cool AC because if I spent that much money on it, I’m definitely going to enjoy it and use it.

I’m quite depressed about it.

I enjoy sunny days, but cloudy days, especially when it’s raining, just make me feel down. The potential for what I could be doing outside seems endless, but the rain only serves to ruin it. Some people, however, do not feel this way about gloomy, overcast days. She’s a Pluviophile, my sister. It is a real word, for those of you who don’t know, and it refers to someone who enjoys the rain and finds comfort in cloudy days. Both sunny days and cloudy, rainy days can be very enjoyable to different people. My sibling and I share a lot of similarities, but we are also very different in a lot of other ways, and I find it interesting how that works. I typically keep my air conditioner on low when I’m confined indoors. The benefit of turning my air conditioner down is probably that I spend less money on heating and cooling. Even though I frequently moan about the summertime heat when the sun is out, I actually don’t mind it that much. I might have to pay a bit more to keep my house cool, and the air conditioning system may have to work a little harder, but I adore my warm, sunny days. I wouldn’t trade them for anything, and fortunately, the rainy day will soon pass and the sun will shine. If the weather prediction is to be believed, that is.
