Coming up with several thoUSAnd extra dollars is no small thing for a woman like me.

This economy is slender as a drum, everyone knows that.

The price of residing is going up fast, the rate of spend my money is staying right where it is. It’s hard enough to make ends meet week-to-week, nonetheless saving up a few extra grand for my condo repairs. If I would stop drinking beer in addition to smoking weed I could save some money – yes I agree that is tplot – it still wouldn’t get myself and others close enough to several thoUSAnd bucks! Instead I purchased a $200 air conditioning system from Walmart that is little, however can cool off 1 room unquestionably effectively. It plugs into a wall, is about the size of a space heater, in addition to I can move it around with myself and others when I go to a unusual room for a while. Is it anywhere near as nice as having a respected central Heating & A/C system? Of course it isn’t. The portable air conditioning system is a stop-gap measure, to fill the void until I can get a modern central system. Since I am not saving up any money at all, the due date on that central system might be a few years from now. If anything, I might just buy a second 1 of these little air conditioning system units, 1 for the kitchen in addition to 1 for the residing room. At least that way I wouldn’t have to keep lugging the air conditioning system around with myself and others when I go to bed. Now all I need to do is save up $200 for that.

From a young age, our mother always told me that I was going to do something great.

She was talking about our natural ability to draw, but drawing & other forms of art always came naturally to me.

I improved our skill by practicing biweekly & trying other forms of art such as pottery & making things out of paper mache. Then when I went to university, I joined an art club & learnt some extravagant tips in improving, and once I became a young adult, I decided to quit our previous job & take our art skill to the next level. By that point, I was already accepting commission, & selling various sculptures & scented goods online. I was making quite a bit of money, but since I was doing various projects & making so several things, I was running out of room. I decided to start looking for an artisan cabin for rent. If I couldn’t find an artisan loft, after that I could always try a company space for rent, since I was quickly turning our skills into a business. There were plenty of shop space for rent, & to our surprise, price genuinely wasn’t that much of an issue. A company office rental place had the best price, although a commercial shop space for rent came close. I rented our own office in the company office rental building & moved all of our arts & crafts there. From here I hope to expand more of our skills by trying other things such as quilting & learning to draw with graphite pencils.

But, the two spoke about not making a decision until they had time to talk about a few key matters. Lillian does not like holding on and not making hasty decisions. Nancy wasn’t surprised when she went behind her back and took action without speaking to her. They have been partners in an Heating, Ventilation and A/C service company for 6 years. Lillian founded the business and her sister Nancy joined later. When they became partners, they agreed to 100% partnership and that they would make decisions as a team. But, when website traffic was low, Lillian immediately started talking about hiring a new advertising company. Nancy tried to explain to her that they needed to give the SEO campaign room to work, however Lillian did not want to wait. At the moment, they are working with a new advertising company and the website contact button isn’t operational. Lillian has been on a cruise for two weeks and the business hasn’t had any calls from the website because its clients cannot contact them. When clients do try to use the contact button, they end up with a broken page. Nancy believes they were much better before Lillian saw it fit to take matters into her own hands. If she thought things were bad before, she is really going to be frustrated when she sees how bad business is and the amount of traffic that they have on the website. The company would be thriving if the contact button was operational.

Back then, they decided to go for 100% partnership and that they would make decisions together, but when website traffic started to plummet, Hillary started talking about a new marketing expert. John told him that they needed to give the existing SEO expert some time, but his business partner did not want to wait. Now they have a new marketing expert and the website contact button hasn’t worked in a week. Hillary has been on a safari the whole time and they haven’t had any calls from the website because their customers can’t contact them. When they do try to use the contact button, they end up with a broken page. Things weren’t too bad before Hillary decided to take matters into his own hands. If he thought traffic was bad before, he is really going to be sad when he sees the sales from this week and the amount of traffic that they have had on their website. They really should have had twice as many sales if the contact button was functional.

We told her that we needed to grant the SEO campaign sometime, however she didn’t want to wait. Now we have a modern marketing business, but the website contact button has not worked in days. All of us have numerous more hours till sunset plus normally on Tuesdays there are some good players that come out to play. I can’t play though because I am trying to rehab my shoulders from the injuries I sustained while playing last summer. I had so much fun playing but did some injure to my shoulders which I hope I can maintenance myself. I am going to get numerous MRIs next week of my shoulders to finally see what I did to them; I’m sure they are going to tell me that I must get surgery to repair them but we’ll see. I want to get some new window film put on my kitchen windows to provide me a little more privacy but I’m not sure my shoulders will be able to do it. I need to get them better because I use my shoulders for just about everything I do plus I am tired of the constant sharp pains. I assume there is a commercial window film replacement store that also does residential jobs while I was in the slow time in the Wintertide such as now. Wintertide is a good time to get deals on a lot of odd things in my town because both of us are mainly a tourist town plus in the Wintertide it is a ghost town here. I assume I may look into sun control window film along with privacy so I can cut down on my cooling costs in the summer. The sun blasts through my windows plus heats up my kitchen floor to the point that it becomes a furnace in itself.

The bad thing about having an older home is that a lot of things begin to go wrong.

And even when you repair whatever issues it’s having, it won’t be much longer before another issue shows itself.

Even though continuously fixing parts of this house is very frustrating, it’s worth it because this was my childhood home. I have so many great memories in this house, I never want to let it go. So even though I have to spend hundreds if not thousands on repairs, you can’t put a price on good memories. Anyways, one of the issues my home was having was it was having difficulties staying heated. I worried that this might be an issue with the furnace, and I was really hoping that I didn’t have to replace the heating system. Not because I didn’t have the money, but because this heating device was actually the heater that my dad chose all those years ago. So I didn’t really want to have it replaced because of that reason. However, I couldn’t ignore the obvious issues that my house was having difficulty getting heated, so I had to get a local A/C technician to take a look at it. The A/C tech told me good news, it wasn’t the heating unit, it was actually the ductwork. Apparently the ductwork had some holes in it, and it needed to be patched up. I was so happy at the good news, and I immediately made the appointment for the ductwork to be patched up.

I am honestly very glad that I got the smart thermostat now.

I had been needing to get a new thermostat, since my old dial thermostat was no longer very efficient.

It was an older thermostat, and needed to be replaced. I originally planned on just getting another dial thermostat, however, I kept hearing about smart thermostats, even when I wasn’t trying to learn about them. The price on smart thermostats also made me hesitant to get one, but I couldn’t deny the benefits that came with them. However, I already had my mind made up, and I planned on getting another dial thermostat. The only thing that changed my mind is when I went to the store to get the dial thermostat, they just happened to be having a sale on the smart thermostats. I decided what the heck, and went ahead and bought one. Installing a smart thermostat is incredibly easy, and I was able to get it working 15 minutes later. I definitely noticed a difference in my house though, the smart thermostat did a fantastic job with saving energy, but still keeping my house very warm and very cool. I also noticed that my HVAC bill was much cheaper this month than my previous months. I know part of that is because my previous thermostat was badly outdated, but regardless, I am glad I got the smart thermostat after all.

One of the things I wish that I started doing sooner is trying to save money on my energy bill. When it comes to using a lot of energy, my heating and air conditioning system takes the cake. It is very costly to always have the air conditioning unit or the heater running, but it’s also hard not too, because it is always either hot or cold in my area, there are very few in between. Because of that, it is almost a necessity to always have the HVAC system running. However, lately I have discovered a few ways where you can save money, but still have a fairly cool house. So one of the ways is covering your windows on sunny days. I always liked the look of open windows on sunny days, but I didn’t realize how much this was costing me, nor how much harder it was making it for my A/C system to cool my house down. After I started covering my windows, my house stayed cooler for much longer, and for once, I didn’t need to have the A/C component on all day. Another thing I started doing is programming my smart thermostat. Smart thermostats in general will save you money, but it will save you even more money if you program it. Instead of the constant need to fumble around with the central A/C system, when I programmed the thermostat, I no longer had a need to constantly get up and mess with it. Just those two changes alone helped me save money.

Sometimes, I feel like an absolute idiot.

Some of the things I say or do, I find myself looking back on years later and cringing. I know we all have moments like that, but it’s hard not to hyperfocus on our own flaws and compare them to others. I just had something like that a week ago. My husband and I moved into this home a few years ago, and after a little while, we both noticed that one of our rooms wasn’t being heated or cooled. The HVAC system wasn’t the best, but it was enough to cool or heat our home. We didn’t think too much of it, and just kind of ignored it. However, we are turning that room into a nursery, and it needs to have proper HVAC. I originally thought that the issue was with my air conditioning system, so I had multiple A/C technicians come out and look at our system. But all of them would tell me the same thing, that our heating and cooling system looked and worked just fine. This was incredibly frustrating, but finally, we had one A/C specialist who decided to take a look at the room that was causing the issue. It was actually the air vent in that room, which was closed. The air conditioning specialist opened it, allowing cool air to flow into the room. I felt like an idiot. If I had just taken a look at the air vent to begin with, I would have realized that it was closed. That was such a simple fix, and I somehow didn’t even notice it.
