Last Tuesday I went to a medical cannabis shop for the first time ever.

I actually wish I could say that I was a patient, although I was there to service an air conditioning appliance problem.

My parents used to go to the butcher fairly often when I was a kid, but there wasn’t a grocery store close to our residence. Since there are grocery stores plus supercenters all around, there actually is not a need for a local butcher these days. I went to the shop to see the butcher. The arena was actually huge plus they had a pretty amazing selection of chicken, turkey, fish, beef, plus pork. The butcher also had a selection of weird meats like boar, venison, plus rabbit. The owner of the store met with me plus we discussed the issues with the AC machine. I grabbed my tools from the truck plus spent most of the afternoon actually working on the AC machine repair. When I was finished, the butcher gave me a rack of ribs as a tip. The ribs were some of the most amazing cuts of meat that I have seen in a long time. They looked a lot nicer than anything I’ve seen at the local grocery store.

We are selling raffle tickets for our baseball team for next year.

We needed to get a really good prize to give away as the grand prize for the raffle, and we ended up with a high efficiency heating and cooling system which was donated by a local HVAC company.

When they told us that they were going to just flat out give us a brand new HVAC unit, I could hardly even believe my ears. This HVAC unit was, by far, the most expensive grand prize that we had ever received for the team to raffle off. We were so lucky that the owner of the HVAC company turned out to be a huge baseball fan and that he is also a big supporter of our small community here. I love our little baseball team and I think that we are going to do a great job at selling the raffle tickets this year. I mean, everyone is going to want to buy a raffle ticket once they find out how great the grand prize is. I know a whole lot of people who are hoping to win the new HVAC unit. I guess other people out there are just like me in the fact that they want to improve the indoor air quality in their homes. I know that I certainly wouldn’t be sad if I won the grand prize. The HVAC system at my house could certainly use an upgrade at this point, that’s for sure. Maybe we will make tons of money for the team this year and we can go to more tournaments than ever before. All of the kids are just itching to win trophies and medals so we want to give them as many opportunities as possible.

The outside temperature has been well up into the nineties over the past several days and we haven’t been able to sleep much at all

I don’t know what’s wrong with the air conditioning system on the top floor of our house, but something is definitely up. It’s always really hot up there, no matter how low we set the temperature on the thermostat downstairs. I wonder if we might need to invest in zone control heating and cooling for the upstairs and the downstairs. I don’t really know what the issue is but I do know that we are definitely going to have to do something about it. There is no way that we are going to be able to last all the way through the whole entire summer without air conditioning up there. Most of the bedrooms are on the top floor of the house and so we just about have to have the air conditioning up there during hot summer nights. The master bedroom is even upstairs, and my husband and I have been dealing with sweltering temperatures up there for the past few weeks. The outside temperature has been well up into the nineties over the past several days and we haven’t been able to sleep much at all. Thank goodness my husband installed a window unit air conditioning system in the bedroom for us or we would not have been able to sleep at all the past several days. I feel sorry for the two kids that sleep up here, though. They don’t have window unit air conditioners in their bedrooms and it is at least ten degrees hotter up there at night than it is downstairs most of the time!
