The Quietest Air Conditioners

Last week, the Heating plus Air Conditioning device company sent a team of HVAC duct cleaners to the condo to clean the HVAC duct… I didn’t know it was too dirty until I felt a difference in the airflow.

It seemed considerably weaker, plus there wasn’t much heat coming from the gas heating device.

After the Heating plus Air Conditioning company showed up plus evaluated the gas furnace, they told me I needed to get the HVAC duct cleaned before the lack of airflow did permanent damage to our gas heating device. Before the Heating plus Air Conditioning expert left, she had called plus arranged for the HVAC duct cleaners to come to the condo the following afternoon. I looked at our appealing white floors plus could only imagine how much dirt was going to be on them after the HVAC duct was cleaned. I almost wanted to take a risk with our gas furnace getting mangled. I was so concerned about the shape our floors would be in when they were done. I attempted putting the newspaper on the floor to keep it clean, however our cat ripped it up. I ended up calling the professional floor cleaners plus setting up an appointment to have our carpeting plus floors cleaned the following afternoon. Once the Heating plus Air Conditioning HVAC duct cleaners arrived, it didn’t take such a long while for them to get set up plus start cleaning the HVAC duct. I watched as they sucked 2 sizable company bags full of dirt out of the HVAC duct system. When they started blowing through the HVAC duct, I knew the mess was beginning, however they told me that all they were doing was repairing a few small holes plus sanitizing the HVAC duct. When they were gone, I called the floor cleaners plus canceled our appointment. Apart from the condo smelling considerably cleaner, there was no mess.

Once the HVAC ductwork cleaners arrived, it didn’t long for them to get set up and start cleaning the ductwork. I watched as they sucked two large contractor bags full of dirt out of the ductwork system. When they started blowing stuffed through the ductwork, I knew the mess was beginning. They told me that all they were doing was repairing a few small holes and sanitizing the ductwork. When they were gone, I called the floor cleaners and canceled my appointment. Apart from the house smelling cleaner, there was no mess.

My mother has Alzheimer’s and there are times when she comes off with some honestly different things.

• Last evening, I fixed her favorite food with awesome steak and baked potatoes.

She had butter and sour cream on her potato when she looked at me and told me she couldn’t eat yet… I asked her if there was something wrong with the food, and she said it was amazing. She just couldn’t eat yet. I thought I may have forgotten to take her medicine, and she knows she needs to take it before she eats. I looked at the packet, but the pills were gone. I sat down next to her and I actually began eating.. She stopped my fork halfway to my mouth and told me we had to wait for the Heating and Air Conditioning machine specialist. I didn’t remember calling the Heating and Air Conditioning machine specialist, but she thought I had. She said she would not eat until the Heating and Air Conditioning machine specialist got there. I asked her who actually chose to invite the Heating and Air Conditioning specialist, but she only rolled her eyes. She called me by her sibling’s name and told me she asked him to lunch to meet mom and dad. She wanted to introduce him to dad and get his approval to date the Heating and Air Conditioning machine specialist. I thought she was talking about dad, but he wasn’t a Heating and Air Conditioning specialist, or at least not as far as I knew. When dad came in from outside, he sat down to eat his lunch. She grabbed his hand and told him she knew he would come, then dad gave her hand a gentle squeeze and said he would never miss having food with such a lovely girl just like her. Dad was her Heating and Air Conditioning machine specialist.

I thought he was talking about Mom, but she wasn’t a Heating plus Air Conditioning worker, or at least not as far as I was aware. When father came in from outside, he sat down to eat his lunch. He easily grabbed his hand plus told him he knew he would come, but Mom provided him with a squeeze plus said she would never miss a lunch with such a beautiful boy. Mom was his Heating plus Air Conditioning appliance worker.

I remember the strangest things about junior high and high school.

• I remember funny, random moments and antics from fellow students.

I remember the decor in certain classes and random things that certain teachers said. I have to admit that when it comes to academics, it seems that many things went in one ear and out the other. Only snatches of random facts seemed to stick. However, there is one thing that I remember with fondness: the heating system at my school. In the Midwest, where my school was located, extreme temperature shifts throughout the year are the norm. I really have to give it to whoever chose that furnace and the ones who installed it. In the dead of winter, my classes felt toasty! Classes felt so warm that sometimes, the teacher would have one of us crack open a window or two to let in some fresh, cold air! I would be able to take my jacket off and still be perfectly comfortable! The lunchroom was similarly comfortable, but not quite as cozy in the winter. There were double doors that led outside that people were going in and out of sometimes, and the space was much larger and more cavernous, making it more difficult for the furnace to heat it efficiently. Still, no one was freezing, just maybe a little chilly. However, the coziest and toastiest place in the whole school campus was the auditorium. Anytime we would gather for a long length of time, whether it was to listen to a speaker or watch some sort of presentation, I like many other kids ended up passing out and sleeping due to the warmth and comfort of the auditorium!

Sometimes, it’s a real struggle to muster enough strength and enthusiasm to even get out of bed. I admit that there are some days that I have at least a little bit of enthusiasm. Maybe I slept particularly well. Maybe there’s a project at work that I’m actually interested in. Maybe it’s simply Friday and I know that the work week is almost over and that gives me a boost of energy. I have to say, though, more often than not, It’s a struggle to start the day and go on my commute to work. Lately, what has made cranking out in the morning even more difficult is just how comfortable my new air conditioning system has made my house. I use ductless mini split HVAC systems. The one that I have for my bedroom is very powerful! Because that particular unit is contained to my bedroom, It uses less electricity than a conventional forced air heating and air conditioning system with ductwork. Because of this, I have no problem with setting the thermostat all the way down to 68° at night. The crisp, coldness of my room is divine! The last thing I want to do on a work week morning is roll out of bed and leave the snug warmth of my covers. That cozy feeling that the cool A/C brings to my room makes it so difficult not to snooze the alarm or even turn it off! One of these days, I think I will give in!

Having grown up where the weather was dreary more than it was sunny, I really appreciated the good weather days. My home region just didn’t get a lot of go on sunny days. There was a normal mixture of clouds at the very least. And more often than not it was just sort of nasty. Plus, the winters were cold in the summers were wet. So it’s plenty of heating from the gas furnace in the winter and not enough rays of sunlight in the summer along with not much demand for air conditioning. This is why I moved to the South. For years and years, I had contemplated this move. But there were kids and a job and all that stuff to contend with. Once the kids were out on their own, I thought more and more about moving south. Now that I was divorced and on my own, I could go for a job opening whenever it became available. And that was really the best decision I’ve ever made. Now I’m in a place where there are far more days of full sunshine than there aren’t. And that makes me super happy. Sure, the summer had a lot of air conditioning demands due to heat. But that’s really for only four months of the year. And the only time you really have to be inside the cooling air is during the peak heating hours of the afternoon. However, I have a sunroom with a ductless heat pump that allows me to enjoy the sunshine while still getting plenty of air conditioning when it’s hot.
